TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The transfer or inbreng of shares of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to the Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara) is targeted to be completed within a month.
Chief Executive Officer of Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, stated that the process of transferring ownership of shares is carried out in accordance with the prevailing regulations in the capital market. "The inbreng will be completed within a month. Because, once again, we have to carry out this in accordance with the regulations. There are capital market regulations and others," he said to the media at The Westin Jakarta on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
According to Rosan, the ownership of shares of several companies to be transferred is already publicly recorded. Therefore, the transfer process only needs to follow the existing regulations. Danantara has also discussed this matter with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).
BPI Danantara was officially launched by President Prabowo Subianto on February 24, 2025. This agency manages the assets of state-owned companies worth around US$ 900 trillion. Danantara will oversee two parent companies or BUMN holdings. These two holdings are the investment holding and the operational holding.
Rosan Roeslani, who currently serves as the Minister of Investment and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), was appointed as the CEO. The position of chief investment officer (CIO) overseeing the investment holding is filled by Pandu Sjahrir. The operational holding under the chief operating officer (COO) is led by Dony Oskaria. The appointments are based on Presidential Decree Number 30 of 2025.
