Travis Kelce has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for what could prove a pivotal game in deciding his future in the NFL.

The Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon with Kansas City's postseason hopes hanging in the balance.

Andy Reid's side have reached five of the past six Super Bowls - winning three of them - but they are currently out of the AFC playoff places.

According to the NFL's own calculations, Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Co currently have a 47 percent chance of reaching the postseason. Defeat by the Colts, however, would slash their chances to just 29 percent.

The game comes a couple of days after Kelce addressed his looming retirement. This was widely expected to be the 36-year-old's final year in the NFL.

But Kelce has opened the door to a 14th season with the Chiefs, revealing that he will make his mind up at the end of the 2025 campaign.

The Kansas City Chiefs star hinted that he could delay retirement for at least another season

That could arrive sooner than planned if the Chiefs lose to the Colts and, on Sunday, Kelce showed up at Arrowhead in an all-black get up.

It is not known whether Swift - a regular at Chiefs games over recent years - will be in the stands Sunday.

The 36-year-old has won three Super Bowls with the Chiefs and, in recent years, Kelce has grown to become football's biggest star.

The tight end, who announced his engagement to Taylor Swift back in August, is in the final year of his contract with Kansas City. But on Friday he left the door open to returning for 2026.

'I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not - or whether they want me back or not,' Kelce said.

He added that he plans to decide by early March - before the start of NFL free agency.

'I'd like to make that decision before they've got to get draft picks and free agency opens to fill the roster appropriately.

'All that will be at the end of the season. I won't be thinking about it until then.'

The Chiefs have struggled this season - Mahomes and Co are 5-5 heading into Sunday's game - but Kelce has shone.

The tight end and fiancee Taylor Swift are spotted out in New York City earlier this month

The tight end recently broke Kansas City's record for most career touchdowns and the 36-year-old currently leads the Chiefs in receptions (50), receiving yards (631) and touchdowns (4).

Only one NFL tight end - Trey McBride of the Cardinals - has amassed more yards than Kelce this season.

'He's done a heck of a job,' head coach Andy Reid said ahead of Sunday's clash with the Indianapolis Colts.

'He worked like crazy in the offseason to get himself in tip-top shape, which you have to do when you start reaching an older age.

'You've got to work a little bit extra, and he did that. It's paying off for him.'
