Travis Kelce caught heat for his behavior during the performance of the United States' national anthem ahead of the Kanas City Chiefs' Monday night game.
The Chiefs routed the Washington Commanders 28-7 on Monday Night Football this week with Kelce hauling in his 100th career touchdown to add to Kansas City's score.
Yet, it was his activity before kickoff that caught the attention of some fans, who branded it 'disrespectful.'
In a video shared to TikTok by ESPN, Kelce's teammate and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was first seen stoic as he gently swayed on the sidelines as the Star-Spangled Banner was performed at Arrowhead.
'The difference between Mahomes and Kelce during the anthem,' the caption read as the camera panned to Kelce who was jumping and doing toe taps, seemingly unable to stay still as he tried to stay warm.
Kelce's restlessness left fans split as many took issue with what they perceived to be unacceptable behavior during the national anthem.

'Kelce is a tool,' one social media user fumed in the comment section.
'Kelce needs to be more respectful,' another person commented, while another called Kelce 'disturbing and disrespectful.'
A fourth wrote, 'Be more respectful and stop jumping around. I know ur mama raised u better. Trashy!!!'
'Kelce just wants the camera on him... he does it to be noticed & disrespectful,' claimed one.
'Stand still kid be respectful,' urged another, as one person added: 'Even high school kids stand still and show respect.'
However, others found no fault in Kelce's actions as they defended him from the criticism.
'I mean, his hand is over his heart. He's mouthing the words (albeit off and on). Who cares if he's warming up his legs a little during it? I see zero disrespect. People literally just looking for disrespect wherever they can.'
Others comments simply chalked up Kelce's behavior to his eagerness to hit the field, while some likened it to the 'human exclamation point' description that his fiancée Taylor Swift used for the tight end.

And after setting yet another record for the franchise, the legendary tight end celebrated by performing a dance inspired by one of his fiancee's new songs.
Eagle-eyed Swifties quickly spotted that Kelce pulled out the viral 'Fate of Ophelia' dance following his touchdown, after holding both of his arms out and moving them up and down while shaking his head.
ESPN cameras immediately cut to the pop megastar watching on from her VIP suite alongside Brittany, where she was seen pointing to her man in excitement.
