Donald Trump followed up his high-profile meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo by posting a bizarre AI-generated video of them playing soccer together inside the Oval Office.
Ronaldo, considered by some the greatest soccer player of all time, made a surprise appearance at the White House on Tuesday night for a glitzy black-tie dinner hosted by the President.
After dining with some of the most powerful executives on the globe, the five-time Champions League winner and his fiancee Georgina Rodriguez were also pictured enjoying a stroll with Trump on the White House grounds the following day.
The couple were invited into the Oval Office to continue the conversation and grab some photo opportunities, which quickly went viral on social media.
And one day after the pictures were shared, Trump shared an AI video of him and Ronaldo hilariously kicking a soccer ball around in his working space on Truth Social.
He also wrote: 'Ronaldo is a GREAT GUY. Loved meeting him at the White House. Really smart, and cool!!! President DJT'.

Cristiano Ronaldo and fiancee Georgina Rodriguez visited the White House earlier this week
After Trump welcomed Ronaldo during his speech at the black-tie event on Tuesday evening, the White House shared video the next morning of the two men walking side by side along with Rodriguez, next to The Presidential Walk of Fame. 'Two GOATS,' the footage was captioned, adding: 'CR7 x 45/47'.
Speaking Tuesday night, Trump also thanked Ronaldo for earning him some extra adoration from his soccer-obsessed son, Barron. And now, according to expert lip-reader NJ Hickling, he confided in the ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United superstar about his 19-year-old's sporting abilities.
'He doesn’t play at all. It’s a shame, really. It’s a great sport,' Trump appears to say. 'You know, it takes a great player to play football.'
It's unclear which 'football' Trump is discussing. He would naturally refer to the American version, which he's a huge fan of, but has also been known to call soccer 'football' in the company of Europeans such as Ronaldo. And given how he laughed at the comment, it's possible he is reacting to Trump complimenting him.
Ronaldo late thanked Trump for hosting him, writing on Instagram: 'Thank you Mr. President for your invitation and for the warm welcome you and the First Lady gave me and my future wife.
'Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I stand ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace.'
Trump said at Tuesday's dinner: 'This room is loaded up with the biggest leaders in the world - business, sports. My son is a big fan of Ronaldo... Barron got to meet him and I think he respects his father a little bit more now - just the fact that I introduced you.'
Ronaldo's meeting with the controversial President left some of his loyal fans uncomfortable
The trip to Washington was the first time Ronaldo has been pictured publicly in the United States since a 2017 rape allegation, which he has always vehemently denied.
Not all of his fans were thrilled to see him cozying up to someone as controversial as Trump, with some saying it was a sad moment in the career of the 40-year-old.
'Been following and praising the GOAT (greatest of all time) since 2006,' one fan commented on his Instagram post showing him strolling down the Presidential Walk of Fame with Trump.
'I have never seen him take an L (loss), let alone an L of this magnitude in my life. Incredibly sad day.'
Another fan wrote: 'If you needed more proof that Messi is better, now you don’t have to question it ever again.'
