UFC fighter Maycee Barber insists she's 'doing great' ahead of her return to the sport after suffering a terrifying pre-fight seizure back in May.
Barber's main event showdown against fellow flyweight Erin Blanchfield at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas was cancelled just minutes before it was scheduled to take place.
But Barber is now scheduled to return to the Octagon in December against Karine Silva at UFC 323.
She told TMZ that she's had 'a lot to go through' but cannot wait to return to action.
'I feel good, I'm excited,' Barber said. 'It's been definitely a process of mental battles, and then also the physical battle of recovering and just being back to training, and there's a lot to go through.'
'This is my time to shine. This has been my layoff, this has been my comeback. And I just feel like this is the perfect fight for me to just go out there and put on a performance, and just remind people that the reason why they followed my career and the reason why they've followed my journey and everything about what I've done.'

After a pre-fight promotional video was broadcast to UFC viewers, the commentators announced that Barber was 'not ready' to make the walk to the Octagon to take on Blanchfield.
It was then subsequently announced that the fight had been cancelled and a very unsympathetic Blanchfield was bizarrely critical of her opponent.
'She needs to look at another division. She needs to fix her life,' she said.
'She needs to fix herself. I think she's a mess in every aspect of her entire life.'
Despite that criticism, Barber thanked her fans for sticking by her. 'It's really cool to see,' she added.
'The fans that I have, and just people in general - fight fans, MMA fans, coaches, teammates - everybody. We've all come together, and it's like, it's really cool to see the support.'
