Former Wales rugby coach Warren Abrahams has passed away at the age of 43.

The South African-born coach, who also previously worked in Harlequins' academy, has been working with Belgium's women's team in Kenya, and died while he was with the team.

Belgium were competing in the Safari 7's tournament when they learned of the news.

'His smile, wisdom and calm strength he brought ton the team will never be forgotten.' They also said that they were shocked and saddened by the sudden loss.

Throughout his career, Abrahams, as well as working with Harlequins between 2011 and 2019, also spent time in the sevens management teams of the USA women and England men. He was in charge of the Wales women's team from November 2020 to July 2021.
