It's been revealed that fans will not be able to place a bet on Jake Paul's boxing match against Gervonta Davis later this year.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul will share the ring with 'Tank' on November 14th in a match-up that fans are struggling to predict - given the significant weight difference.
'Tank' has never been defeated as a professional and has held the WBA lightweight title since 2019. The 30-year-old will be giving up a significant height and weight advantage against 6ft 1in Paul.
However, even if fans wanted to try and predict the outcome, they will not be able to because the fight is being sanctioned as an exhibition bout.
The news was confirmed by executive director of the Florida Athletic Commission, Timothy Shipman, who said: 'You can't do a fight like that as a pro fight. It'll be an exhibition fight'.
The reason for making it an exhibition bout are largely down to the size differences between the two fighters.
Jake Paul is set to take on Gervonta 'Tank' Davis in an exhibition boxing fight in November
For their most recent fights, respectively, Davis weighed in at 133lbs while Paul weighed in at 199lbs - giving them a 66lbs difference.
Meanwhile, officials are still deciding over the weight of the glove that will be used.
Shipman continued: 'I'm looking at the details right now. I mean, it's happening pretty fast. But I am sure there will be other stipulations'.
The fight was initially set to take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta but will now take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
The decision to move venue came after pushback from boxing officials in Georgia.
Davis may be small of stature but packs a punch having knocked out twenty eight of his thirty one opponents to date.
He is a controversial character, previously accused of domestic violence in 2022 by Vanessa Posso, who is the mother of Davis’ daughter. Posso has since publicly withdrawn her abuse allegations.
In July, he was arrested again on a domestic battery charge.
Paul has a habit of orchestrating super-fights - such as his bout against legend Mike Tyson
As seen in jail records obtained by Daily Mail, Davis was facing a battery charge after being arrested in the early hours of Friday, June 15 in Miami Beach, Florida.
On August 12 it was announced that those charges had been dropped with the victim declining to prosecute.
In his latest defense Davis retained the WBA lightweight title via a controversial majority draw against Lamont Roach Jr.
Prior to that result, he was No 8 in the pound-for-pound list and among the very best boxers in the world.
