10 Countries with Lowest Organized Crime Rates
According to the Global Organized Crime Index, Tuvalu and, São Tomé and Príncipe hold the titles of countries with the lowest recorded crime rates in 2023. Read on to learn about other admirable contenders on the list below.
1. Tuvalu
Located in the west-central Pacific Ocean, Tuvalu is the country with the lowest crime rate, with an estimated crime rate of 1.61. With few economic opportunities and a less attractive trade market, Tuvalu has very little recorded crime, especially in human smuggling and firearms accidents.
2. Sao Tome and Principe
With an impressively low measure of criminality, Sao Tome and Principe shows little evidence of illicit financial activity such as money laundering. While the country's current protocol does not meet global standards, the government is believed to be addressing deficiencies in response to the enforcement of additional financial regulations.
3. Nauru

10. Dominica
