TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) in the version of the Extraordinary National Assembly (Munaslub) in Jakarta, Anindya Bakrie, mentioned that President Prabowo Subianto will go on a safari abroad in the near future. By bringing the name of Kadin, Anindya mentioned that it will be involved in the state visit.
"We will focus on APEC in Lima, Peru, and also Rio, Brazil, and G20," said Anindya at the Kadin Economic Dialogue event with the Leaders of the Indonesian Kadin Council, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Menara Kadin, Jakarta.
The eldest son of conglomerate Aburizal Bakrie said that during the overseas visit, Kadin will carry out its function to open markets and invite investors to enter Indonesia.
Furthermore, Anindya expressed his hope to soon meet with Prabowo Subianto for an audience related to the Indonesian Kadin. This audience, according to Anin, is related to the announcement of the new Kadin daily executive board and the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) of Kadin which is planned to be held in early December this year.
"We hope that, hopefully in a short time, who knows, there could be an audience with the President," said Anindya.
On the same occasion, the Anindya Bakrie faction has announced the second phase of the new leadership. Anindya said that this time the announcement of the Kadin board is still about 90 percent of the total board members. "It's not easy to form the Kadin cabinet."
The second phase of the Jakarta Munaslub version of the Kadin leadership was announced by the Vice Chair of the Coordination Division for Organization and Communication of Kadin, Erwin Aksa. He mentioned that the structuring of this Kadin executive board was just completed at 3 in the morning. This announcement of the Kadin daily executive board complements the previous announcement made on October 7, 2024.
There are several new names in this announcement of the executive board, one of which is Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas Yudhoyono). Ibas was appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Kadin Advisory Board.
In addition to Ibas, there are other public figures who are part of the Kadin board. Among them are the Minister of Investment and Empowerment / BKPM Rosan P Roeslani, Deputy Minister of Coordination for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Otto Hasibuan, former Coordinating Minister for Economics Chairul Tanjung, former Chair of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo, and artist as well as Special Envoy of President Prabowo Subianto, Raffi Ahmad.
