TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The price of gold from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, or Antam gold, rose drastically in trading today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Antam gold prices jumped Rp102,000 per gram today after dropping yesterday.
According to the Logam Mulia website, today's gold price is recorded at Rp2,946,000 per gram. On February 3, the price was recorded at Rp 2,844,000 per gram, a decrease of Rp183,000 compared to the previous day.
Gold prices have been volatile since the end of January. On January 31, 2026, the price of the precious metal plummeted Rp260,000 per gram, from Rp3.12 million to Rp2.86 million. It then strengthened again to Rp3.02 million on February 2, 2026. Gold reached an all-time high of Rp3.16 million per gram on January 29, 2025.
The resale or buyback price of Antam gold bullion today rose Rp86,000 to Rp2,710,000 per gram. Buyback transactions with a value above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to income tax or PPh 22 of 1.5 percent.
This regulation is in accordance with the Amendment to Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning Taxpayer Identification Numbers (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government agencies. This amendment also includes the use of the National Identification Number (NIK) as the NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total value of the sale or buyback transaction.
