TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi regions will experience predominantly bright and partly cloudy weather on Friday, October 10, 2025, as cited from the official website bmkg.go.id and BMKG's official Instagram.
BMKG forecasts that the weather in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands Regency will be predominantly bright and partly cloudy, with a potential for light rain in all areas except the Thousand Islands between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
The expected temperature range in the Jakarta region is 23-33 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds of 2-13 kilometers per hour.
In West Java, partly cloudy weather will dominate in the cities of Bogor, Depok, Bekasi Regency, and Bekasi City. However, several areas in Bogor Regency have the potential for moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds.
These five areas are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 19 to 34 degrees Celsius and wind speeds ranging from six to 11 kilometers per hour.
BMKG predicts the potential for light to heavy rain in several areas of West Java in the coming week. This is due to the active low-frequency waves in West Java, relatively warm sea surface temperatures that supply water vapor to the atmosphere, and a Dipole Mode Index value of -1.49.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is likely to occur in three regions of Banten, namely Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang City. These three areas are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.
