TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that almost all areas in Jakarta will be showered with rain from the afternoon until late at night, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The air temperature in Jakarta will not exceed the range of 23-31 degrees Celsius, with air humidity levels around 75-97 percent.
Referring to the 24-hour weather forecast published by BMKG at 19:00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time) on the previous Monday, only the Thousand Islands will experience light rain early on Tuesday. At the same time, South Jakarta will experience thick clouds, while other areas of Jakarta will be cloudy.
From morning until 13:00 WIB, BMKG predicts that the weather throughout Jakarta will tend to be cloudy. Today, the wind will generally blow from the northeast to the southeast at a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
Before Tuesday evening at 19:00 WIB, light rain is likely to fall in South Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta. The weather in other areas of Jakarta will be cloudy.
BMKG predicts that rain will also fall in cities around Jakarta. Long-duration rain is forecasted to fall in Bogor City in West Java, starting from 13:00 WIB until late at night. The intensity will also increase, starting from light rain, then becoming moderate rain at 14:00 WIB, and turning into thunderstorms at 15:00-17:00 WIB.
Bekasi City will also experience light rain from 13:00 WIB to 23:00 WIB. The intensity of the rain will increase at 16.00 WIB before returning to light rain. Depok City is also predicted to receive rain from noon until 19.00 WIB, but it will only last for about an hour.
The weather in Tangerang City is predicted to be foggy at 06:00 WIB, then briefly clear. Rain and cloudy weather will alternate in Tangerang City from noon to evening. The Tangerang sky is likely to be cloudy from 19:00-22:00 WIB, before being showered with light rain before midnight.
