TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas in Jakarta will be showered with rain from noon until late in the evening, Wednesday, November 6, 2024. The air temperature in Jakarta today will not exceed 23 to 31 degrees Celsius, with air humidity levels around 75 to 95 percent.
Referring to the 24-hour weather forecast issued by the BMKG at 7:00 pm, yesterday, most areas in Jakarta were covered with thick clouds in the early dawn. North Jakarta was showered with light rain, while the Thousand Islands were moistened by light rain.
Since 7:00 am until noon, cloudy weather covered Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands. At the same time, light rain fell in other areas of Jakarta. BMKG recorded the wind blowing from the northeast to the southeast with varying speeds, up to a maximum of 10 kilometers per hour.
Similar to yesterday, the majority of areas in Jakarta have the chance of rain from noon until 7:00 pm later. Light rain is predicted to fall in North Jakarta and West Jakarta. Meanwhile, South Jakarta and East Jakarta will experience higher intensity of rain.
The BMKG also detected the potential of rain in Bogor City, West Java, around 12:00-16:00 local time, otherwise cloudy. Depok City will also be showered with light rain from 2:00 pm, lasting until 7:00 pm. Meanwhile, Bekasi City is predicted to experience rain starting from 4:00 pm later this Wednesday afternoon.
