TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Minister of State-owned Enterprises Erick Thohir visited the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia's office on Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 2025.
The three were seen at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources office around 3 p.m. The meeting is reportedly to discuss the business plan for the 2025-2034 Electricity Supply (RUPTL).
"Meeting with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia, and the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Sri Mulyani. We discussed to ensure the 2025-2034 Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL)," Erick Thohir said on his Instagram account on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Erick said the meeting was a commitment by the government to ensure a greener, new, and renewable energy transition for future generations.
"We are targeting an increase in electricity capacity of 71 GW, with 70 percent of this coming from new renewable energy," he said.
