TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia AirAsia achieved an on-time performance (OTP) of 77.4% in November 2024, based on the latest On-Time Performance Monthly Report released by Cirium Aviation Analytics.
Indonesia AirAsia President Director Veranita Yosephine said that the achievement solidified the airline’s position as the most punctual airline in Southeast Asia in November 2024, outperforming other major airlines in the region. She underscored Indonesia AirAsia's commitment to maintaining and improving travel experience for its customers.
“Punctuality is an important element of the flight experience we offer, and this recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire Indonesia AirAsia team,” said Veranita in a written statement released on Monday, December 23, 2024.
In October 2024, Indonesia AirAsia also recorded an OTP of 80.34 percent, while in September 2024 the figure reached 80.02 percent. She claimed that this result shows Indonesia AirAsia's consistency in maintaining the punctuality of its flights amidst the dynamics Southeast Asian aviation landscape.
“In addition, Indonesia AirAsia shows an extraordinary level of operational reliability, with a very high completion factor, ensuring that almost all scheduled flights operate as planned,” Veranita added.
This achievement strengthens Indonesia AirAsia's position as a trusted and preferred airline for travelers in the region. The airline has recently expanded its network through the introduction of new domestic and international routes, offering customers a wider range of travel options with efficient and affordable fares.
“By consistently focusing on punctuality and quality of service, Indonesia AirAsia aims to remain the airline of choice for travelers across Southeast Asia,” Veranita emphasized.
The airline remains committed to maintaining and improving its OTP performance while upholding the highest standards of safety and security.
“Indonesia AirAsia has also been officially recognized as an operator that has completed an operational safety audit conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), known as the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA),” Veranita concluded.
