Match Highlights

First Half

When the match had only been running for 27 seconds, Zambia launched a quick attack. Kelvin Chipelu moved forward and sent a pass from the right corner. The shot by Forest Rangers FC's player managed to pass through two Indonesian defenders. Mapalo Simute kicked the ball received from his teammate and it went into Indonesia's goal. However, the goal was disallowed by the referee after a VAR check. The player from Mkushi Football Academy was offside.

The young Garuda team built an attack, Lucas Lee ran with the ball and took a shot from outside the penalty box in the third minute. However, the shot by Balistic United FC's player was saved by Christo Chitambala, who currently plays for Nkwazi FC.

Gholy's goal put Indonesia in the lead in the 12th minute. He capitalized on the rebound inside the Zambian penalty box. The goal started from Evandra Floresta, who successfully snatched the ball from the opponent's defender, then passed it to Fadly Alberto Hengga, who lobbed it into the middle. Chitambala reacted by jumping to clear the ball, but Gholy kicked the loose ball into the net.

After conceding, Zambia increased their attacking intensity. Simute attempted a shot from the right corner, but the ball went over Algazemi's goal in the 17th minute.

The team coached by Dennis Makinka scored the equalizing goal through Nyirongo in the 35th minute. He put the ball into Algazemi's goal from a cross by Kelvin Chipelu.

Just two minutes later, Nyirongo scored his second goal with a powerful shot from outside the penalty box. The ball went into the right corner of Algazemi's goal without being deflected. The score changed to 1-2 in favor of Zambia.

Towards the end of the first half, precisely in the 42nd minute, Zambia extended their lead through Lukonde Mwale's goal. The midfielder from Malaga FC breached Algasemi's goal with Chipule's pass in front of the goal. At that moment, Putu Panji failed to intervene.

Trailing 1-3, the team led by Nova Arianto tried to claw back. However, their efforts to score a second goal were futile. The score did not change.

Second Half

Evandra Florasta had a chance to score in the second half. At that moment, he was in front of the goal and received a pass from the right side. However, he fell in the penalty box due to Andrew Mwape's tackle. Referee Carrasco Adonis immediately blew the whistle.

The referee, who was expected to award a penalty, did not do so. The on-field referee considered Mwape's tackle not a foul after reviewing the VAR. Evandra, who reacted by protesting the referee's decision, received a yellow card. This incident occurred in the 65th minute.

In the second half, the match became tighter. Both teams attacked each other. In the 79th minute, substitute player Nelson Chilemu tried to threaten Algazemi's goal with a powerful shot from outside the penalty box. However, the ball from the Kafue Celticcs midfielder's shot still went over the crossbar.

As the remaining time dwindled with ten minutes left until the end of the match in normal time, the Red and White team launched another attack. Evandra ran with the ball, then passed it to Mirza Firjatullah. However, Mirza was closed down by two Zambian defenders in the penalty box. He then tried to pass to his teammate, but the ball went out of play.

With five minutes left, Evandra pressed Zambia's defense again. He attempted a shot from the penalty box. However, his shot was thwarted by Chitambala.

Four minutes later, substitute player Rafi Rasyiq dribbled the ball into Zambia's defense, then took a shot from outside the penalty box. The ball from his powerful shot hit the left post of the goal. The Young Garuda squad continued their efforts to score a second goal. However, no goal was scored, and the score remained 1-3 until the end of the match.
