TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) officially commenced ticket sales for the Indonesian national team's FIFA Match Day fixtures in September 2025 on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The Garuda squad is set to play against Kuwait and Lebanon at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.
Match Schedule and Ticket Information
Indonesia will first face Kuwait, currently ranked 138th, on Friday, September 5, 2025. Three days later, under the guidance of coach Patrick Kluivert, the team will test their strength against Lebanon, who are ranked 112th in the world. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 8:30 p.m. Jakarta time.
Ticket prices vary across six categories for each match. The cheapest tickets for the Indomilk Upper Garuda category are priced at Rp75,000 for the Kuwait match, while the same category for the Lebanon match costs Rp100,000.
Overall, ticket prices range from Rp75,000 to Rp250,000 for the Kuwait match and from Rp100,000 to Rp400,000 for the Lebanon match.

Preparation for the World Cup Qualifiers
These two matches are part of PSSI's preparations for the team's upcoming fourth round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Saudi Arabia in October. Indonesia has been placed in Group A alongside host Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
The Garuda squad's World Cup qualifier schedule is as follows:
October 9, 2025: vs. Saudi Arabia at 12:15 a.m. Jakarta time at King Abdullah Sport City
October 12, 2025: vs. Iraq at 2:30 a.m. Jakarta time
Only the group winner will automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The last-place team will be eliminated, while the second-ranked teams from both groups will compete in a two-legged match on November 13 and 18.
The winner of those matches will represent Asia in the fifth round, where they will face teams from other confederations for a final spot in the 2026 World Cup.
