INTEL expands its range of commercial AI PC by launching the Intel Core Ultra series 200U, 200H, 200HX, 200S, and Intel Core Ultra series 200V processors at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. "The year 2025 is important for PC innovation and with the Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors," said Vice President for the Client Computing Group and General Manager for Client Segments at Intel, David Feng, in his statement on Thursday, March 7, 2025, quoted from Antara.
This diverse portfolio offers global companies solutions that provide high computing performance, power efficiency, and optimal connectivity, as well as security and ease of management across various desktop and mobile devices.
Intel claims that these processors are designed with advanced security features and management ease, setting an industry standard in business computing. "All are supported by Intel vPro, which sets an industry standard in business computing with ease of management and security," said David Feng.
Intel Core Ultra Series 2
As quoted from the Intel website, the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 desktop processors are designed as entry-level workstation platforms and premium desktop solutions. A new level of smart performance for handling daily tasks.
AI PC serves as the gateway for users to enter the era of artificial intelligence, equipped with hardware, software, and Intel technology designed specifically to accommodate AI workloads. The Intel Core Ultra processors integrate CPU, GPU, and NPU for optimal performance, high efficiency, and better security.
Connectivity Technology
AI PC provides a constantly connected computing experience with support for the latest generation Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the most advanced Thunderbolt technology, and more PCIe lanes.
Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) with integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for high speed and Bluetooth 5.4 & Intel Wi-Fi 7 for improved responsiveness and range. Intel Connectivity Performance Suite ensures optimal Wi-Fi connection and prioritizes business applications.
For wired connectivity, Thunderbolt 5 with up to 120 Gbps bandwidth supports 6K video and faster data transfer. Thunderbolt 4 cables are simpler. Thunderbolt Share enables efficient device sharing between PCs.
