Pizza Hut Indonesia Turns Loss into Rp15.9 Billion Profit

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta The operator of Pizza Hut stores in Indonesia, PT Sarimelati Kencana Tbk, has reported a profit of Rp15.9 billion in Q3-2025. With this, the company with the stock code PZZA has reversed the loss of Rp96.7 billion in the same period last year.

According to their financial report on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Monday, October 27, 2025, PZZA recorded a net sales of Rp2.2 trillion. This amount increased from Rp2.03 trillion in the same period last year.

The sales of PZZA were derived from food sales of Rp 2.1 trillion and beverage sales of Rp129 billion. Throughout January-September 2025, PZZA also provided discounts or sales deductions of Rp4.2 billion. Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold by PZZA was recorded at Rp 690.2 billion.

As of September 30, 2025, PZZA has total assets amounting to Rp1.9 trillion. This consists of current assets of Rp309 billion and non-current assets of Rp1.6 trillion. Furthermore, PZZA's equity is recorded at Rp1.03 trillion and liabilities at Rp917 billion.

By the end of 2024, PZZA reported a decrease in the number of outlets and a reduction in hundreds of employees. In December 2024, Pizza Hut had 591 outlets spread across 36 provinces in Indonesia. This number of outlets was lower than the 515 units in September 2023.

The number of permanent employees also experienced a reduction, from 5,021 employees on December 31, 2023, to 4,464 employees on December 31, 2024. The number of non-permanent employees also decreased from 1,274 in December 2023 to 1,034 employees on December 31, 2024.
