TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto wishes everyone a Merry Christmas 2024. Prabowo hopes that this Christmas celebration will be filled with peace.
"Merry Christmas to all Christians in Indonesia," said Prabowo as quoted from Instagram @presidenrepublikindonesia, Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
Prabowo also hopes that this Christmas celebration will bring new hope and strengthen brotherhood in the diversity of the nation.
"May it be peaceful and joyful. Christmas always illuminates our hearts, brings new hope, and strengthens brotherhood in the diversity of the nation," said Prabowo.
The Head of State invited everyone to welcome Christmas 2024 with new enthusiasm in order to realize Golden Indonesia 2045.
"Let's welcome this blessed Christmas with new enthusiasm to realize Golden Indonesia 2045," said Prabowo.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Religion, Nasaruddin Umar, wished Christians a Merry Christmas 2024. The Minister of Religion also wished all Indonesians a Happy New Year 2025.
"Let's continue to spread love and strengthen the building of humanity," said Nasaruddin in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
National Christmas 2024 carries the theme "Let us now go to Bethlehem". This theme carries a message about loyalty and willingness to follow God's calling. The National Christmas celebration will be held at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta on December 28.
