TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will inaugurate the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet today, Monday, October 21, 2024.
"Tomorrow morning I will inaugurate the ministers, at 10:00 AM local time," said Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Sunday night, October 20, 2024. After that, in the afternoon, Prabowo will inaugurate the deputy ministers.
Prabowo announced seven coordinating ministries and 41 technical ministries. The seven coordinating ministers are Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Budi Gunawan; Coordinating Minister of Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Population Yusril Ihza Mahendra; Coordinating Minister for Economy Airlangga Hartarto; Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno; Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono; Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar; Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan.
"With the agreement of the coalition chairs, we named this cabinet the Red and White Cabinet," said Prabowo.
In addition to the coordinating ministries and technical ministries, Prabowo also announced the heads of agencies that are not under the coordination of the coordinating ministers. They are ST Burhanudin, Attorney General; Herindra Head of the State Intelligence Agency; AM Putranto, Presidential Chief of Staff; Hasan Nasbi, Head of the Presidential Communication Office; Teddy Indra Wijaya, Cabinet Secretary.
