From the championship matchup to the halftime show, here’s what we know so far about the 2026 Super Bowl.

When is the 2026 Super Bowl?

Super Bowl 60 will take place on Sunday, February 8, 2026. 

Following a schedule the NFL has stuck to since expanding to a 17-game regular season in 2021, the game traditionally falls on the second Sunday in February. This year, the Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET, and airs on NBC. 

Where is Super Bowl 60 being held?

The 2026 Super Bowl will be hosted at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, also known as the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Opened in 2014, the stadium will host the Super Bowl for the second time, further cementing its place as one of the NFL’s premier venues.

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny, best known for chart-topping hits like “Tití Me Preguntó” and “DTMF,” will headline the Super Bowl 60 halftime show. 

The Puerto Rican superstar is a three-time Grammy winner with an additional 12 Latin Grammy Awards to his name. His selection marks a historic moment for the Super Bowl, as the superstar will become the first Latin male artist to headline the halftime show ever. 

Green Day 

Grammy-winning rock band Green Day will take the stage as the hometown act during the opening ceremony of 2026 Super Bowl. 

The band, made up of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool, is expected to perform a selection of their most iconic songs as part of a special tribute marking six decades of Super Bowl history. 

Brandi Carlile

The pre-game festivities at the Super Bowl are just as much a part of the spectacle as the game itself. And eleven-time Grammy Award winner Brandi Carlile has been tapped to sing “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game ceremony at the 2026 Super Bowl.

Charlie Puth 

Charlie Puth, best known for hits like “Attention” and “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” will perform the National Anthem ahead of kickoff at the 2026 Super Bowl.

Following the announcement, some fans shared mixed reactions on social media, with opinions quickly surfacing on X. In response, Puth addressed the conversation directly, reassuring fans that his performance is being carefully prepared.

“I’ll never claim to be as good of a singer as Whitney Houston ever was,” Puth wrote in a reply to one fan.

“But I assure you we’re putting a really special arrangement together — in D major. It’ll be one of my best vocal performances.”

Coco Jones 

Former Disney Channel star Coco Jones will perform Lift Every Voice and Sing as part of the Super Bowl 60 pre-show.

Jones is best known for her Grammy-winning single ICU, which marked a major milestone in her transition from child star to acclaimed recording artist.
