TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Eid al-Fitr Allowance (THR) for state officials, including civil servants, military personnel, police, and retirees, will be disbursed today, Monday, March 17, 2025, benefiting approximately 9.4 million recipients.

"The THR will be paid two weeks before Eid al-Fitr, with disbursement starting today, Monday, March 17, 2025," President Prabowo Subianto announced at the Merdeka Palace last Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

This policy is outlined in Government Regulation (PP) Number 11 of 2025, which was signed by the President on Friday, March 7, 2025.

PP Number 11 of 2025 also mandates the payment of the 13th-month salary at the start of the new school year in June 2025. "It will also be provided to judges and retirees, covering a total of 9.4 million recipients," Prabowo added.

The THR includes basic salary, inherent allowances, and performance-based allowances paid in full at 100 percent.

Furthermore, Article 9 of the regulation details that the THR and the 13th-month salary come from two sources, namely the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) and also the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

The THR and 13th-month salary, sourced from the APBN, are designated for civil servants and employees with work agreements (PPPK) in central government agencies, TNI personnel, police officers, state officials, public broadcasting leaders, and non-civil servant employees in public broadcasting institutions.

Meanwhile, the THR and 13th-month salary funded by the APBD are intended for civil servants and PPPK in regional agencies.

The additional income is granted by considering the fiscal capacity of the region and in accordance with the provisions of the laws and regulations. The components of the THR and the 13th-month salary are adjusted according to the rank, position, job grade, or job class.
