The Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) is reportedly holding a meeting to discuss the fate of the South Korean tactician who is familiarly called STY.
Until now, the keyword "Shin Tae-yong" has become the top trending in Indonesia on X. The news resurfaced after many netizens uploaded a screenshot of a post by one of the PSSI Committee Members, Kairul Anwar, who thanked STY.
2. Indonesian Govt Prepares 28,000 Quotas for MSMEs to Participate in Free Nutritious Meal Program
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana said that the Indonesian Government has prepared a large quota for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to become partners of the Government in the free nutritious meal (MBG) program. "The quota is 28,000," said Dadan when contacted on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Dadan has not explained in more detail about the agreement and the technical implementation of the cooperation later. He only revealed that currently there are around 13,000 people who have registered their businesses to become partners. The registration for this partnership is done online through the official website bgn.go.id.
3. Indonesian Minister: Negotiations with Apple Next Week Will Not Be Easy
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita has anticipated challenges when negotiating with Apple Inc. officials which are scheduled to take place between January 7 or 8, 2025. Agus predicts that Apple will seek the greatest profit they can get from investing in the country.
"Negotiations will not be easy. Apple will put their interests first, what we can read is how much profit," said Agus on Friday, January 3, 2025. With that awareness, he stated that the Indonesian government will also uphold the principles of justice in considering investment proposals from the technology company.
