BTS and Hearts2Hearts Break New Records on Circle Chart

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - K-pop continues to make waves across generations, with both veteran and rookie groups dominating the latest Circle Chart rankings.

For the week of March 15–21, 2026, BTS achieved a triple crown, while the rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts maintained a double crown, highlighting their growing influence in the global music scene.

The Circle Chart, formerly known as Gaon Chart, tracks the performance of songs and albums across multiple categories, including albums, downloads, digital streams, and social media impact. The latest rankings reveal the continued dominance of several K-pop acts with their newest releases.

BTS Dominates Across Three Charts

BTS secured the top spot in three major charts: the Album Chart, Digital Download Chart, and Social Chart, thanks to their latest album, ARIRANG.

On the Album Chart, all top three positions were taken by different versions of ARIRANG. The regular edition debuted at No.1, followed by the Weverse and LP versions at No.2 and No.3, respectively.

The Digital Download Chart further demonstrated BTS’s popularity, with the top five songs all from ARIRANG. The main track, “SWIM,” held the No.1 spot, followed by “Body to Body,” “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” and “FYA.”

BTS also led the Social Chart, which measures fan engagement and social media activity, underscoring their global influence and dedicated fanbase.

Hearts2Hearts Maintains a Double Crown

Rookie group Hearts2Hearts continued to impress by holding the No.1 position on both the Overall Digital Chart and Streaming Chart for two consecutive weeks with their hit song, “RUDE!” The top five rankings on both charts remained consistent, featuring KiiiKiii’s “404 (New Era),” IVE’s “BANG BANG,” and two tracks by HANRORO: “Landing in Love” and “0+0.”

Competition on the Global K-Pop Chart

On the Global K-Pop Chart, the fictional group HUNTR/X from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack retained the top spot with “Golden.” BTS appeared in the next two positions with “SWIM” at No.2 and “Body to Body” at No.3.

Hearts2Hearts’ “RUDE!” ranked No.4, while the collaboration between Ros and Bruno Mars, “APT.,” completed the top five.

The latest Circle Chart rankings highlight the enduring appeal of BTS and the rising influence of Hearts2Hearts, showing how K-pop continues to captivate audiences both in South Korea and around the world.
