TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) officially launched the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih website today, April 21, 2025. The digital platform was launched directly by Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie Setiadi at the Kemenkop office on HR. Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.
"On this occasion, we have successfully launched the kick-off of the kopdesmerahputih.kop.id platform, which is the official website for the registration of 'Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih' (Red and White Village/Community Cooperatives)," said Minister Budi.
He stated that the website has been designated as the national dashboard for the cooperative task force (Satgas), serving as the single source of data for this program. He further mentioned that the site will be jointly managed by the Satgas and technically administered by Kemenkop.
Minister Budi emphasized that all data updates will be provided in real-time through the website. "This national dashboard aims to record and monitor the entire process of establishing 'Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih,' starting from initial outreach and socialization, through special village deliberations and member meetings, up to the formal establishment of the cooperative," he explained.
Deputy for Institutional and Digitalization of Cooperatives, Henra Saragih, added that this website will also be used to evaluate the progress of establishing Koperasi Desa Merah Putih. Based on the established timeline, the target is to form 80,000 Koperasi Desa by National Cooperative Day on July 12, 2025.
"So, we have 81 more days to achieve this," Mr. Henra noted.
The website offers three models for establishing Kopdes: building a new cooperative, developing existing cooperatives, and revitalizing cooperatives.
Henra explained that a number of data and requirements must be met to establish a Kopdes. Before submitting the establishment documents, special village deliberations and member meetings must take place, and their corresponding documents must be uploaded to the website.
"Because we will digitalize Koperasi Desa Merah Putih, we will immediately create its microsite," Henra said.
Establishing a Kopdes also requires the involvement of a notary. According to Henra, the selection of a notary will depend on the outcomes of each village deliberation.
