TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Indonesian U-17 national team announced its final squad for the 2026 AFF U-17 Championship, which will be held in mid-April.
As reported on the official Instagram account @timnasindonesia on Tuesday, coach Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto has called up a total of 26 players to compete in the 2026 AFF U-17 Championship.
In goal, the Indonesian U-17 national team will be strengthened by three goalkeepers: Syahdan Caesar, Noah Leo Duvert, and Abdillah Ishak.
Furthermore, in defense, nine players have been called up: Pandu Aryo, Putu Ekayana, Farik Rizqi, Shoyyo Himawan, Zidane Raditya, Farrel Luckyta, Made Arbi, Handri Dimas, and Peres Akwila.
Meanwhile, seven midfielders will play for the Indonesian U-17 national team: Fardan Farras, Girly Andrade, Keanu Senjaya, Miraj Rizky, Chico Jericho, Al Faruqi Rangkayo, and Aldredo Naraya.
The seven forwards are I Komang Semadi, Dava Yunna, Ridho, Sean Rahman Castot, Fardan Ary, Ichiro Akbar, and Mierza Firjatullah.
In the 2026 AFF U-17 Championship, Indonesia will be drawn in Group A alongside Vietnam, Malaysia, and Timor Leste.
Indonesia will certainly be looking to regain its championship title after previously winning the 2018 and 2022 editions, which were held in Indonesia.
The Garuda Muda squad is scheduled to face Timor Leste (April 13), Malaysia (April 16), and finally, Vietnam (April 19).
