
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Data and Information Center of the Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Mohamad Yohan noted that as of Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 07:00 AM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), remaining floods occurred in 89 neighborhoods and two road sections. The submerged areas are located in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta.
"Meanwhile, the two roads still flooded are Puri Kembangan Street, South Kedoya District, West Jakarta, with a depth of 40 centimeters, and Puri Mutiara Street, West Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta, with a depth of 70 centimeters," said Yohan when contacted by Tempo on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Meanwhile, the roads that have receded are Komplek Joglo Street, Strategi Raya Street, and Basoka Raya Street, all located in Joglo Sub-district, West Jakarta.
According to data received by Tempo, the BPBD recorded 4,258 people displaced due to the disaster. The refugees come from Kampung Melayu, Bidara Cina, Cawang, Pejaten Timur, Cilandak Timur, Lebak Bulus, Lenteng Agung, Kedoya Selatan, Kedaung Kali Angke, and Pengadengan. The largest number of refugees is from Bidara Cina which reached 919 people.
