TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - American rock band Linkin Park is set to make a highly anticipated return to Indonesia as part of their From Zero World Tour 2025. The concert, scheduled for Sunday, February 16, 2025, marks a 13-year wait for Indonesian fans.
The band, now featuring Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong, and Colin Brittain, will perform songs from their latest album, "From Zero", including hits like "The Emptiness Machine" and "Heavy Is The Crown". They will also perform a selection of iconic tracks from over two decades of their music work.
Details regarding the concert venue and ticket sales will be announced soon, according to an official statement received today, November 15, 2024.
Linkin Park’s World Tour
The 2025 Linkin Park world tour kicks off on January 31 in Mexico City and concludes on November 15 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The tour will feature various guest acts, including Queens of the Stone Age, Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS.
Before arriving in Jakarta, Linkin Park will perform in Tokyo, Japan on February 11 and 12, 2025.
Linkin Park's Excitement for Asia Tour
At the end of September 2024, Linkin Park expressed their enthusiasm for touring Asia. In a virtual press conference on Friday, September 27, 2024, Drummer Colin Brittain highlighted the passionate fan base in the region, expressing his joy to visit Asia as the people are always so warm.
Brittain, who joined the band at the beginning of September, also revealed that the band has received numerous requests from Indonesian fans to perform in the country.
Linkin Park's From Zero Album
Linkin Park's eighth studio album, "From Zero", was released on November 15, 2024. The album features a digital deluxe edition, which includes live versions of three songs recorded in Los Angeles, London, and Paris, along with 46 pages of visuals and handwritten lyrics. This album marks its first album since 2017, a new chapter in Linkin Park's music journey.
The lead single, "The Emptiness Machine", debuted at number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, marking Linkin Park's 13th number-one song on the Alternative Airplay chart. The album also includes other notable tracks like "Two Faced", "Casualty", and "Good Things Go".
