TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Arifah Choiri Fauzi, urged travelers to make use of the public facilities provided during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr homecoming exodus or 1446 Hijriah. One of the facilities provided by the government is the reporting channel.

"If mothers and fathers experience or witness any kind of violence, they may report it at Ruang Sapa 129," said Arifah during her visit to the mother and child-friendly homecoming exodus facilities at Pulo Gebang Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta, on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

At Pulo Gebang Terminal, Arifah checked several facilities dedicated to mothers and children such as a prayer room, toilet, and lactation room. In general, lactation can be understood as the process by which a mother provides breast milk to her child.

Arifah also checked and interacted with residents while visiting a special corner for children to play. This place is usually used by parents who are traveling home and waiting for the bus.

Child advocate Seto Mulyadi, also known as Kak Seto, accompanied the Minister of Women's Empowerment during her visit to Pulo Gebang Terminal. The head of the Child Protection Institution hopes that the complete facilities available at this terminal can also be evenly distributed to other locations. "Hopefully this will also become a tradition in various terminals. Travelers seem comfortable," he said.

A total of 5,407 passengers departed from the Integrated Terminal of Pulo Gebang, East Jakarta, on D-4 of Eid al-Fitr, a number that is expected to continue increasing.

"As of this afternoon, 5,407 passengers have departed from Pulo Gebang Terminal," said Operational Supervisor of Integrated Terminal of Pulo Gebang, Mujib Thamrin when contacted in Jakarta, Friday, cited by Antara, Friday, March 28, 2025.

Mujib stated that the arrival of passengers reached 511 buses in the type A terminal. Based on the data collected, on D-3 or Friday until 14:00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time), there were 3,183 passengers and 429 departing buses recorded. The management predicts that it could reach 5,000 passengers by tonight.
