TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has spoken out against the suspected criminal activities by former CEO of Investree, Adrian Asharyanto Gunadi, who is now the CEO of JTA Investree Doha Consultancy. Adrian has been listed in the authority's wanted list and Interpol's red notice.
The Head of the Department of Literacy, Financial Inclusion and Communication at OJK, M. Ismail Riyadi, affirmed the agency's commitment to pursuing Adrian. OJK is actively seeking his repatriation, working with relevant authorities at home and overseas.
"OJK laments the permission given to Mr. Adrian to serve as the CEO at JTA Investree Doha Consultancy by relevant parties in Qatar, considering his legal status," he said in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
OJK will bolster coordination and cooperation with law enforcement agencies and various parties at home and abroad to address this finding. OJK also seeks penal and civil accountability from the individual concerned.
Previously, the Head of the Financial Services Investigation Department at OJK, Tongam L. Tobing, said it had become aware of the whereabouts of Adrian Gunadi, who is allegedly in Doha, Qatar.
OJK revoked Investree's business license on October 21, 2024, while Adrian Gunadi was dismissed on February 2, 2024, amid the high level of non-performing loans at the company. As reported on Investree's official website at the time, Investree's TKB90 (90-day successful payment rate) was 83.56 percent.
TKB90 refers to the success rate of peer-to-peer lending in facilitating the settlement within 90 days of the due date. Conversely, to determine the non-performing loan level of P2P lending, the overdue ratio or TWP90 is used. OJK assesses the non-performing loan ratio of online loans or P2P lending within a 90-day period. If Investree's TKB90 is 83.56 percent, then its TWP90 reaches 16.44 percent, higher than OJK's standards.
Investree has since been dissolved and is undergoing a liquidation process, following its business license withdrawal in October 2024. This sanction is laid out in the Decree of the OJK's Board of Commissioners Number: Kep-53/D.06/2024 dated October 21, 2024.
