TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sony has just announced a lineup of monthly PlayStation Plus games that will be available to members in December 2024. Additionally, they have also revealed several extra bonuses related to the 30th birthday celebration of PlayStation.
Starting from December 3, 2024, the three games available for PlayStation Plus members are It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem. All these games can be accessed until January 6, 2025, giving members over a month to add to their game collection.
In addition to the monthly games, Sony has also prepared a number of special activities to celebrate the 30th birthday of PlayStation. This celebration will involve various bonuses and exciting opportunities for PlayStation Plus members, including:
1. PlayStation Plus Premium Game Trial: Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, starting from December 3, 2024, they can try out the game Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 in a trial version. This game is an action game with shooting and close combat elements that provides an exciting combat experience.
2. PlayStation Classic Games Collection
Starting from December 10, 2024, three classic games from PlayStation 2 will be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. Players can enjoy Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy which will take them back to the PlayStation 2 era with iconic platformer gameplay.
3. Free Online Multiplayer Access
For players who do not have a PlayStation Plus subscription, Sony is offering the opportunity to enjoy free online multiplayer features on the weekend, specifically on December 6-8, 2024. During this period, players can play online games without requiring a PlayStation Plus subscription, both on PS4 and PS5.
4. Esports Tournaments
In addition, Sony is also organizing esports tournaments involving various popular games such as EA Sports FC 25, NBA 2K25, Tekken 8, and many more. These tournaments will take place on the same weekend as the free multiplayer access, namely on December 6-8, 2024.
5. Giveaways
For PlayStation Plus members, there is a chance to win prizes such as a 30-month PlayStation Plus Premium subscription in a sweepstakes that will run from December 10 to 23, 2024. Additionally, there is also a 30% discount on purchasing films from Sony Pictures Core that can be enjoyed between December 3-9, 2024.
6. Celebration in London
To celebrate this special moment, PlayStation also sponsors a train on the London Underground, which is part of the 30th birthday celebration of PlayStation.
