TEMPO.CO, Bandung - The rainy season has lowered the temperature in the Greater Bandung region, including Bandung City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Cimahi City. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) recorded the lowest temperature of 19 to 22 degrees Celsius, while the hottest at 29 to 31 degrees Celsius.

According to data from the BMKG Geophysics Station in Bandung, Thursday, November 14, marks the coldest day in Greater Bandung, with the air temperature sitting at 19.6 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the hottest temperature that day was 31.4 degrees Celsius.

Previously, on Monday, the temperature in Greater Bandung ranged from 21.4 to 29.8 degrees Celsius. The following day, the temperature ranged from 20 to 29.2 degrees Celsius, and on Wednesday, from 21.2 to 30.6 degrees Celsius.

Based on global, regional, and probabilistic model predictions, BMKG forecasts overcast weather in West Java with a chance of light to heavy rain in some areas. Chances of strong winds still exist in some parts of West Java, including Greater Bandung.

"In Greater Bandung, the air humidity level ranges from 55 to 95 percent, which supports convective cloud growth,” said the Head of the BMKG Geophysics Station in Bandung, Teguh Rahayu, in a written statement on Monday, November 18.

On Tuesday, BMKG forecasts a cloudy day in Greater Bandung, with a chance of rain in the afternoon and evening. The air temperature ranges from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.
