TEMPO.CO, Batam - Snow City Singapore is offering a 15 percent discount on ticket prices for tourists with Indonesian passports. The manager said this was done to welcome the year-end holidays and Christmas in 2024.
"We will offer a 15 percent discount for Indonesian citizens throughout December," said Norazani Shaiddin, General Manager of Snow City Singapore, on Monday, November 25, 2024.
Visitors just need to show their Indonesian passport. Snow City staff will then provide the discounted ticket prices. "However, the discount is only given to visitors who purchase tickets on-site, not for online purchases," Norazani said.
Currently, she said, the number of visitors to Snow City Singapore each year reaches 120,000 people, where more than 50 percent are tourists from Indonesia.

New Attractions at Snow City Singapore
Since October 2024, Snow City Singapore has undergone significant changes. In particular, the snow slides, which were previously straight, are now 120 meters long in a circular shape. It is made of ice crystals carved into a circular trench three levels high.
The same goes for the snow. While the snow used to be made of foam, the management of Snow City Singapore is the only one with a machine that produces real snow. The snow that falls on this ride actually looks real, so visitors can build snowmen and make snowballs.
Due to the change, there's an increase of S$2 in the ticket prices for Snow City Singapore. Now the entrance fee for an adult is S$27 or about Rp319,000, while for children it is S$25 or about Rp295,000.
