TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf alias Gus Ipul said the new single socio-economic data was integrated under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto. This data will become a reference for ministries, agencies and local governments.
"For the first time, under President Prabowo's leadership, Indonesia has one or single data. This is what the previous president had not done," Gus Ipul said in a Joint Dialogue on the Pillars of Social Welfare at the Sidoarjo Regency Hall, East Java, as quoted by an official release, Thursday, January 9, 2025.
He said previously ministries and institutions generate their own data. The single socioeconomic data will be the only data for ministries, agencies and local governments. They are no longer allowed to create their own data.
"At the direction of the president, our data will be merged with data from ministries and institutions, so in the future, there will be no more Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). There will be a Single National Socio-Economic Data," he said.
He explained that the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) was assigned to match the data to be processed to make it more accurate. He also asked the social pillars to participate in updating the single data later. "The formal way is through deliberations, urban villages, villages as usual," he said.
Then, the second route, he said, is through the social assistance check application. The application provides a rebuttal proposal by attaching photographic evidence of the house, family conditions, and other things that need to be included.
"All assistants according to the president's direction participate in updating and improving the data," he said.
Gus Ipul emphasized that in the future, he would start data disclosure steps. The social pillar has the responsibility to upgrade the beneficiaries of the Ministry of Social Affairs. "So that they graduate, upgrade to become independent families," he said.
He said that each assistant assists 300 beneficiaries. He targets that each year there will be 10 beneficiaries from each assistant who have graduated.
"I reported to the president that if allowed, I want there to be a target of graduated beneficiary families," he said.
