1. 8 Must-Visit Tourist Attractions in Guangzhou, from Nature to History
Guangzhou is renowned for its distinctive historical and cultural heritage, as well as its modern atmosphere. Travelers can experience a unique blend of cultural heritage, urban development, and captivating natural scenery in this port city. Moreover, Guangzhou is the birthplace of the world-renowned Cantonese culture and cuisine.
Guangzhou has been the busiest trading center in China for centuries. Located in the central-southern part of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou is a regional center in southern China, as cited in Britannica. The main part of the city is situated on the northern edge of the Pearl River, which branches from the Xi (West) River before joining the Dong (East) River and forming the expansive Pearl River Delta to the south.
2. Unified Tourist Visa for Six Gulf Countries Set to Launch Soon
Tourists who wish to visit the Gulf countries will be able to travel with a single-entry visa. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is launching a new single-entry visa that will allow tourists to travel freely across its six member countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
Currently, tourists are required to apply for separate visas for each country. However, with this new system, non-GCC citizens can choose to apply for a single-country visa or a multi-country Gulf visa.
