TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) warns Greater Jakarta residents of potential rainfall and thunderstorms today, Friday, November 22, 2024.

Weather forecast in Jakarta
Central Jakarta expects a drizzle in the afternoon today, followed by a thunderstorm at 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Similar weather will occur in West Jakarta, while South Jakarta will be moistened with light rain from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Later in the day, BMKG forecasts a drizzle in East Jakarta and North Jakarta at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively. Thunderstorms will follow in both regions at 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
In contrast with the other regions in Jakarta, Thousand Islands will only face a drizzle in the evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Weather Forecast in Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi
BMKG forecasts a drizzle in Bogor City this afternoon, interspersed with a moderate-intensity rainfall at 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Bogor Regency will have direct thunderstorms in the afternoon, which will last into the night.
Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency share a similar weather forecast, expecting a drizzle from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A chance for thunderstorms is also present in Depok City, which will last until 8 in the evening.
Weather Forecast in Greater Tangerang
BMKG forecasts a drizzle in Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., but the latter also expect moderate intensity rain in the afternoon.
In South Tangerang City, BMKG predicts light rain in the afternoon, which lasts into the night, interspersed with thunderstorms.
