TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta gubernatorial candidate number 2, Dharma Pongrekun, introduced the Adab Getuk program as Dharma-Kun's flagship program to address economic issues in Jakarta.
"Because just by staying at home, the economy (money) will enter their pockets," said Dharma when outlining his vision at the second Jakarta gubernatorial election debate at Beach City International Stadium, North Jakarta, on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
According to Dharma, the flagship program can secure the people's economy to survive and be inherited. He said that the program can solve all economic problems in Jakarta. "Never feel expelled from Jakarta even though the cost of living is high," he said.
In implementing the program, Dharma said that he has prepared a supervisor named the adab economic team to oversee the economic system process.
The Jakarta General Election Commission held the second debate for three pairs of Jakarta governor and deputy governor candidates, namely Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno. The debate was held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at Beach City International Stadium, North Jakarta.
There is a different mechanism in the implementation of this second debate. Seven representatives of community groups were invited to channel their aspirations to the panelists, which would then be formulated into questions.
"So that these panelists can delve deeper into issues related to the economy and social welfare directly from the community that feels it," said the Chair of the Socialization Division, Voter Education, and Community Participation of the Jakarta Electoral Commission, Astri Megatari, when met at the Jakarta Electoral Commission building on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
The theme of the first debate is "Economy and Social Welfare." Meanwhile, there are six sub-themes, namely Integrated infrastructure and prime basic services; Education and health; Handling of social inequalities; Digital economic development and MSMEs; Tourism and creative economy; Basic food price inflation.
