TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka once again personally monitored the free nutritious meal (MBG) program implementation. On the morning of Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Gibran visited the MBG program at SMPN 11 and SMAN 4 Depok, West Java.
According to a written statement from the Vice President's Secretariat, Gibran first checked the MBG program at SMPN 11 Depok, then moved on to SMAN 4 Depok, which was not far from the location. Gibran mentioned that the students were eating their nutritious meals with great appetites.
Gibran said that the menu provision in the program implementation has been quite good and has been directly monitored by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). However, the son of the 7th President, Joko Widodo, invited the media and the public to provide feedback regarding the food menu in the MBG program.
"I think today went pretty well. If there are any evaluations later, maybe after I leave, feel free to share them. There was a BGN team standing by here as well," said Gibran.
The menu served at SMPN 11 Depok, which Gibran visited, consisted of white rice, katsu chicken, green mustard greens (caisin), oranges, and boxed milk. Meanwhile, the students at SMAN 4 Depok enjoyed their free nutritious meals, which included white rice, green beans, teriyaki chicken, oranges, and boxed milk.
At SMPN 11 and SMAN 4 Depok, Gibran Rakabuming was said to have had a dialogue with the students. The former Mayor of Solo also took the time to distribute notebook packages and observe the "Razia Ganteng" program alongside Captain Barbershop.
In photos shared by the Vice President's Secretariat, some students with long hair and untidy were seen getting their hair cut for free.
