TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Nintendo will gradually launch its latest handheld console, the Nintendo Switch 2, in several countries this year. A promotional video showing the design of this portable game console was aired on Nintendo of America's official YouTube channel on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
"Can be used to play exclusive Switch 2 games, as well as physical and digital Nintendo Switch games," reads the promotion on the YouTube channel.
The video shows the Switch 2 body with orange and light blue grips. Each handheld can be detached from the console. The right side of the handheld console is a place for the keyboard, while the left side is for the directional buttons, complete with analog buttons.
According to Nintendo's previous announcement, the handheld console will be launched through an event called "Switch 2 Experience," which will be held in various cities around the world.
