TEMPO.CO, Kabupaten Bogor - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to cast his vote for the 2024 regional elections at Polling Station 08 in Bojong Koneng Village, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java. He will be voting for both the West Java gubernatorial election and the Bogor regent election.
Bogor Acting Regent Bachril Bakri explained that the Bogor Regency Government is preparing necessary facilities, including an ambulance and medical personnel, as well as public toilets, at the polling station. A joint security post is also being constructed near the President's residence.
“I inspected the location yesterday, and I plan to visit again on Tuesday (November 26) for finalization,” said Bachril in Cibinong on Sunday, November 24.
Four pairs of candidates are contesting the West Java gubernatorial election: Acep Adang Ruhiat-Gitalis Dwinatarina (pair number 1 proposed by PKB), Jeje Wiradinata-Ronal Surapradja (pair number 2 proposed by PDIP), Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Habibie (pair number 3 proposed by NasDem Party, PKS, and PPP), and Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan (pair number 4 by Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, Democratic Party, PAN, and PSI).
Meanwhile, two pairs of candidates are contesting the Bogor Regency head election: candidate pair number 1 Rudy Susmanto-Ade Ruhandi, supported by the Indonesia Onward Coalition (KIM Plus) consisting of 17 political parties, and candidate pair number 2 Bayu Syahjohan-Musyafaur Rahman supported by PDIP.
