TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -- The candidate pair Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Rano) is preparing to present new programs in the second debate of the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Cyril Raoul Hakim, the spokesperson for the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno pair, said that the new programs are the result of field campaign experiences.
Cyril Raoul Hakim or Chico Hakim mentioned that almost every day, the Pram-Rano pair meet the people in the field. "God willing, the preparation is complete," said Chico to Tempo on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
The second debate of the Jakarta gubernatorial election will be held on Sunday night at 19:00 WIB at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol area, North Jakarta. Chico Hakim said that the preparation of the Pram-Rano pair prioritizes resting. This is because tonight's debate will drain energy and the debate duration will be around 150 minutes.
Chico stated that the candidates are intensively discussing with the team, conducting debate simulations, and reviewing what has been outlined in the candidate's vision-mission. "Certainly, new programs will also be included," he said.
According to Chico, the Pram-Rano pair was pleased with the first debate. However, there will still be improvements in the second debate with the theme 'Economy and Social Welfare'. "Nevertheless, there will certainly be improvements on less significant issues," said Chico.
On a separate occasion, Jakarta Governor candidate Dharma Pongrekun shared his preparation for the debate. He mentioned that there are many interesting things during the campaign that can be presented in the debate session later. "It's quite enjoyable. Now it's about how we elaborate on what we have obtained in the field," said Dharma when met by the media at his winning house on Jl. Antasari No. 12 A, South Cilandak, South Jakarta, before heading to the debate.
After resolving issues from the people of Jakarta during the campaign, the three-star retired general said he was looking for a pattern or work program that could help solve them. However, the number 2 gubernatorial candidate declined to reveal what the program is.
