CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta - The rumor about Sheila On 7 holding a concert in Jakarta has been answered. The truth is, Sheila On 7 is scheduled to perform at the Garuda Indonesia Travel Festival (GATF) 2024 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta on Sunday, December 1. This band from Yogyakarta will take the stage on the third day or the closing of the event that combines a travel fair with a music festival.
GATF 2024 is set to take place from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1, 2024. Besides Sheila On 7, the event will also feature performances by Blackline (November 29), Diskopantera (November 30), as well as Oomleo and El Rumi (December 1).
"Especially for GATF Jakarta, every day visitors are able to enjoy music festivals from well-known musicians and bands. Starting from Blackline, Diskopantera, Oomleo plus El Rumi, and finally Sheila On 7," said Marketing Group Head of Garuda Indonesia, Arsena Permasadhie, during a press conference on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
It is also important to note that GATF will be divided into two locations, indoor and outdoor. The sales of Garuda Indonesia flight tickets will be held indoors, while the concert will take place outdoors.
Ticket Prices to Watch Sheila On 7 at GATF 2024
The official Garuda Event account owned by Garuda Indonesia has released the ticket prices that visitors must pay to attend this event and watch the performances of the musicians. The entrance fee per day is Rp 50,000.
However, specifically on the third day or December 1, 2024, visitors who wish to watch Sheila On 7 must pay more with two options. Early bird tickets are sold for Rp 350,000 starting Monday, November 25, 2024 and can only be purchased with a Mandiri credit card.
Normal tickets can be purchased for Rp 450,000 starting Tuesday, November 26 until Sunday, December 1, 2024.
With that amount, visitors can get promo tickets for flights and other tenants within the GATF area. The purchase of GATF entrance tickets can be done through the website www.klook.com.
Sheila On 7 Concert Rumors in Jakarta Again
Several days ago, Sheila On 7 sparked conversations after rumors circulated that they would once again hold a concert in Jakarta. The news started from posts by concert information accounts such as @konserindonesia and @jogjafestmusik on Friday, November 22, 2024. They posted announcements that excited the enthusiasm of the Sheila Gank fans.
"SHEILAON 7 WILL HOLD A CONCERT IN JAKARTA. SAVE THE DATE 29 Nov - 1 Dec 2024, Jakarta, NOTE: There are no ticket sales on any platforms yet!" they wrote. Sheila Gank fans in the comments section began speculating about the possibility of the concert, considering the success of the 'Wait for Me' tour that had just ended.
It is now evident that Sheila On 7 will not be holding another solo concert in Jakarta, but will be performing at the Garuda Indonesia Travel Festival 2024.
