Shin Tae-yong Names 33-Player Squad for AFF Cup 2024, Justin Hubner and Marselino Ferdinan Included

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong has announced a 33-player squad for the upcoming 2024 AFF Cup. The squad includes a number of diaspora players, such as Justin Hubner, Ivar Jenner, and Rafael Struick.

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) announced the list of players to undergo training in Bali from November 26 to December 5, 2024. The majority of the players called up are from the Indonesian U-22 national team.

In addition to the diaspora players, Shin Tae-yong has also included overseas-based players, such as Marselino Ferdinan, Pratama Arhan, Asnawi Mangkualam, and Ronaldo Kwateh.

Several players from the Indonesian U-20 national team, including goalkeepers Cahya Supriadi and Zanadin Faris, as well as Dony Tri Pamungkas, Kadek Arel Priyatna, Sulthan Zaky, and Arkhan Kaka Putranto, have also been called up.

Indonesia is drawn in Group B of the 2024 AFF Cup, alongside Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos. The tournament will take place from December 8, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
