"Jeju Air will serve the Seoul-Incheon to Denpasar route seven times per week starting from October 27, 2024," she said to Tempo in a written response, Thursday, July 15, 2024.
About Jeju Air
As reported by jejuair.net, Jeju Air is an airline from South Korea that started operations in 2005. Since then, Jeju Air has grown into a low-cost carrier that continues to innovate in the way people travel.
In 2016, as summarized from tiket.com, the airline joined the Value Alliance, which is an airline alliance only followed by low-cost carrier service providers. Jeju Air is based in Jeju City, Jeju-do, South Korea.
Jeju Air handled 7.3 million international passengers along with 4.7 million domestic passengers in 2018. The domestic traffic of this airline has been relatively flat since 2016 as it is almost entirely focused on international expansion.
This airline has hub airports at Jeju International Airport (CJU), Incheon International Airport (ICN), and Gimpo International Airport (GMP).
The name Jeju Air is inspired by Jeju Island, an island in Jeju Province, South Korea. The island is located in the Korea Strait, just below the Korean Peninsula, south of South Jeolla Province. Jeju Island contains world heritage sites, such as Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tube.
