Her latest nomination is through her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, which is competing in the prestigious category alongside albums from other big musicians such as Cowboy Carter by Beyonce, Brat by Charli XCX, New Blue Sun by Andre 3000, Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, Djesse Vol. 4 by Jacob Collier, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan, and Hit Me Hard by Billie Eilish.

The 'Shake it Off' singer has now surpassed the previous record held by Barbra Streisand with six nominations. Taylor's success in the Album of the Year category is no coincidence. Since releasing Folklore in 2021, she has consistently received nominations in this category every year.

4 Wins from a Lineup of Legendary Albums

The girlfriend of athlete Travis Kelce now has four wins in the Album of the Year category, first winning the award through Fearless in 2010, making her the youngest artist to win this category at the age of 20.

Ten years later, this record for the youngest age was broken by Billie Eilish at the age of 18. Taylor then won the award again with 1989 in 2016, Folklore in 2021, and Midnights at the Grammy Awards 2024. She was also nominated for Album of the Year with Red in 2014 and Evermore in 2022.

She officially becomes the musician with the most wins in the Album of the Year category, surpassing Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder who each have three wins.
