TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Head of Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, stated that they will establish around 20 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Offices (KPPG) in the Bogor Regency. These offices are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program from the district/city level up to the provincial level, reporting directly to the head of the BGN.
"The coordination of KPPG is directly under BGN. This means the head of KPPG will directly coordinate with me regarding the MBG program. KPPG can be considered as the extended arm of BGN in the region, and its officials must be experts in the field," said Dadan after inaugurating the Cijujung SPPG, Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Dadan emphasized that the KPPG structure will only be filled by Civil Servants (ASN). The recruitment process is also carried out directly by BGN. According to him, KPPG's main focus is coordinating nutritional fulfillment programs, especially the MBG program, and managing and overseeing distribution to ensure the programs reach their intended recipients.
"One KPPG will coordinate around 50 SPPGs. In Bogor Regency, the MBG kitchen is projected to reach around a thousand units. Therefore, we will establish around 20 KPPGs. The points include in Leuwiliang, Ciawi, and other areas in Bogor Regency," said Dadan.
While inaugurating the Cijujung 03 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG/kitchen) in Sukaraja District, Dadan mentioned that the facility falls into the category of "perfect." He assessed that the kitchen and its employees met BGN's operational standard procedures, ranging from cleanliness and hygiene to health examinations.
He said that all kitchen employees undergo health and drug tests by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
"I hope that other SPPGs can imitate the standards here, so that the MBG program truly runs as expected, with hygienic food and all employees being drug-free," said Dadan.
The Chair of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Bogor Regency, Sintha Dec Checawaty, welcomed the directions. She said that Kadin currently manages 15 kitchens, with the target of reaching 20 units in Bogor Regency.
"We will implement the same SOP as in this Cijujung SPPG: serving quality and hygienic MBG, and ensuring the health of all staff without exception. This is a government program mandated directly by the President," said Sintha.
