TEMPO.COJakarta - Indonesia's contingent added 10 gold medals on the ninth day of the Southeast Asian Games, SEA Games 2025, Wednesday, December 17. This addition strengthened the Red and White team's position in the top two of the medal standings.

Rowing, as reported by Antara, opened the gold rush for Indonesia on Wednesday. Rendi Stia Maulana and Memo, who competed in the men's double sculls event, emerged as the fastest.

After that, martial artist Muhammad Zaki Zikrillah Prasong claimed gold in the men's C class of pencak silat. Two gold medals in the women's B class of pencak silat were secured by Safira Dwi Meilani and Tito Hendra Septa Kurnia in the men's E class.

Gold also came from the archery discipline. Diananda Choirunisa, Ayu Mareta Dyasari, and Rezza Octavia were unstoppable in the women's team recurve event. Three other gold medals in this discipline were achieved in the men's team recurve event (Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla, Arif Dwi Pangestu, Ahmad Khoirul Baasith), women's individual recurve event (Diananda Choirunisa), and men's individual recurve event (Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla).
