TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - During the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays, several Indonesian banks have announced adjustments to their branch operations in line with national holidays and government-designated collective leave on December 25-26, 2025, and January 1, 2026. Customers are advised to plan transactions accordingly.
BCA
BCA branches will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26, 2025. Branch operations will resume from December 29 to 31, 2025. Branches will close again on Thursday, January 1, 2026, reopening on Friday, January 2, 2026.
BCA President Director Hendra Lembong reassured customers that digital services will remain fully operational during the holidays.
“The myBCA app, BCA mobile, KlikBCA, and over 20,000 ATMs across Indonesia are ready with high reliability standards,” he said, as quoted on the BCA website on December 24, 2025.
Bank Mandiri
Bank Mandiri will adjust branch operations on December 25-28, 2025, and January 1, 2026. During this period, services will focus on money changers, retail credit processing, and wholesale credit operations. Customers can still use ATMs and CRM networks across Indonesia for cash withdrawals, deposits, and balance inquiries.
BNI
BNI branches will be closed on December 25, 2025. Limited operations will be available at 27 branches on December 26, with normal operations resuming from December 29 to 31, 2025. On January 1, 2026, operations will again be limited to 15 branches.
BRI
BRI will close branches on December 25, offering only digital services. On December 26 and 27, selected branches will provide limited holiday services, including financial and non-financial transactions. Normal branch operations will continue from December 29 to 31, 2025.
Branches will close again on January 1, 2026, resuming operations on January 2, 2026. BRI’s digital and automated services are supported by a network of 19,657 ATMs and CRMs, 284,670 EDC merchant machines, and QRIS payment channels.
Customers are encouraged to utilize digital banking services and plan ahead to avoid inconvenience during the holiday period.
