TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU) has started the vote calculation recapitulation for the Jakarta Regional Election 2024 at the sub-district level today.
"The vote recapitulation will be conducted gradually, starting from the sub-district level, city/regency, and province from Thursday until December 16, 2024," said Jakarta KPU Chairman Wahyu Dinata in Jakarta on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
As a form of accountability and transparency in the vote recapitulation, the process will be held in public, so they, as well as witnesses and candidate pairs, can follow the process.
"We will provide YouTube at the sub-district level. Hopefully, the public can directly witness the recapitulation process conducted at the sub-district level," Wahyu said.
In the process, Jakarta KPU uses the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) technology as a tool for recapitulation and publication to enhance public accountability of the electoral administration.
On the other hand, manual calculations are still used as the basis for determining the results of the vote count.
As for the schedule of recapitulation and determination of the results of the 2024 Regional Election vote calculation recapitulation, namely for the sub-district level from November 28 to December 3, 2024, then for the city/regency level from November 29 to December 6, 2024, and for the province level from November 30 to December 9, 2024.
Meanwhile, Data C, the results from all polling stations (TPS) in Jakarta, totaling 14,835, have been fully entered into the Sirekap application since Wednesday night, November 27, 2024. The public can view the Data C results through the channel pilkada2024.kpu.go.id.
Three pairs of gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidates are participating in the Jakarta 2024 Regional Election, namely Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) with number 1, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) from the Independent Party with number 2, and Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel) with number 3.
Jakarta KPU recorded a total of 8.2 million voters on the final voters list (DPT) who exercised their voting rights at 14,835 polling stations (TPS) on November 27, 2024.
